Tour Description
Our Great Ocean Road and Grampians adventure tours depart from Melbourne every Monday and Wednesday morning. This is great for you because it allows you to choose whichever day best fits into your itinerary. What's more, we can pick you up from selected accommodation anywhere in inner-city Melbourne. That means if you're flying in from out of town, you won't have to worry about booking additional transport.
Discover the stunning beaches of Victoria’s Surf Coast & the winding cliff-side journey along the famous Great Ocean Road, driving through the seaside towns of Torquay, Lorne and Apollo Bay. We make plenty of scenic stops, including of course a photo opportunity at the Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch, as well as stopping to spot cuddly koalas in the wild.
Delight in the awesome rock formations of the Port Campbell National Park, including the Twelve Apostles & Loch Ard Gorge. Your guide will recount the legend of the Loch Ard, bringing the gorge to life in a way you never imagined. We take time to explore here, with more rock formations to see, including the Razorback, the Dumpling Pots and the delightful Island Archway.
Stay overnight in the Grampians town of Halls Gap before exploring this nature lover’s paradise, taking in native wildlife, dramatic rock escarpments and spectacular waterfalls. Wake up surrounded by kangaroos before immersing yourself in nature with some short but energetic walks. Admire the amazing panoramic views from Boroka Lookout & Reid’s Lookout, and descend to the bottom of Victoria’s biggest waterfall, MacKenzies Falls.
Your accommodation for the night will be a bed in a shared budget room with shared bathroom facilities. The option to upgrade to a private double room may be available for an additional charge (subject to room availability).
Tour groups are kept small. That's good for you because it means you'll have more time to explore each destination. You'll also get to know our friendly and informative tour guides, and see places that many of the bigger operators can't get to. The really good news, though, is that this tour is available to everyone aged 12 and over, no matter their level of fitness, so you don't have to be an exercise junkie to make the most of this experience.
This tour is perfect for nature lovers and eco-conscious travellers, as it's environmentally friendly and carbon balanced. So while you're immersing yourself in the untouched beauty of these picturesque locales, you can rest assured that all you'll be leaving behind are your footprints.
With tours departing weekly, it's never too late to discover why the Great Ocean Road is becoming one of Australia's most popular tourist destinations. Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast, an animal lover, or a history buff, this is one experience you can't afford to miss. Book now and start your adventure today!
